EXPANDABLE PFA TEFLON SLEEVING

This product protects wire bundles from abrasion. It is light weight, easily fitted over irregular shapes, flexible, quick to install and remove. It is a woven net that will not hold heat or moisture.

This sleeving withstands HIGH TEMPERATURE. Up to 500 degrees F. ( 260 C ).

It is flame retardant. It should be cut with a hot knife to reduce fraying. To ease installation, fold the end back inside itself to form a fish mouth. (See photo on the left). After installation, to make a tight fit, just apply tension at each end and secure with cable ties.

Expandable Teflon Sleeving is sold in multiples of 5 feet. Order 1 unit you'll receive 5 feet. Order 2 units you'll receive 10 feet in one length/piece.

This is an excellent product for High Temp areas, such as engine compartments. Teflon has excellent dielectric properties and is not affected by organic solvents or acids.

KYNAR^TM Heat Shrink.
Ideal for use where resistance to abrasion and cutting are critical. Kynar is tough and transparent allowing for inspection and identification of protected connections. Meets Mil-I-23053/8,UL Listed, Shrink Ratio approx 2:1. Heat Gun Recommended. Faster shrinkage at 250-350^oC is suggested ^.Use in high and low temp environments -55^oC to 175^oC/ -67^oF to 347^oF.
