All the connectors on this page are for harsh environment applications. This product should be installed where you want to keep water, salt and other corrosive materials out and the electricity in!

The "HSQ-****" parts are "quick-on" or "push-on" connectors. The females fit 1/4" blade terminals. The fully insulated female and male connectors mate together and can be used to splice wires in situations where you will want to be able to disconnect and reconnect.

We recommend using our Eclipse Lunar series die set 300-104 to crimp these terminals.

	A very simple installation procedure! Select the matching wire gauge for the color of your connector. Red=22/18...Blue=16/14...Yellow=12/10...Big Red=8ga. Strip approx. 5/16" (7.6mm) of insulation from the wire and insert it into the crimp barrel.
	Make sure that the wire(s) is/are seated correctly. Crimp the connection with a nested (smooth jaw-no points) type of crimpers..
	Apply heat directly to the connector. In the case of a splice, work from the middle out. For a ring or any one wire terminal work from the head back. Heat until the insulation on the connector shrinks and glue squeezes out around the wire insulation. A curved reflector on your electric heat gun makes the work go faster and you'll get a better job. If you are using a butane or propane torch...go slow and stay back. These torches produce a very hot flame that can burn the insulation on the terminal and on the wire.
